Not So Blind Item: Who Is Gucci Mane Rapping About In This 2008 Diss Track?

I give credit where credit is due and y’all spilled the TEA in the comments section several days ago about Gucci Mane spilling the TEA back in 2008 and the net is buzzing that it may have something to do with a certain husband and wife who are cast members of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.

In a diss track, entitled ‘Shook Them Haters Off,’ Gucci goes in on Big Cat (of Big Cat Records) and adds a few bars that refer to a “Georgia Peach” and her lame husband who might be on the “D-Lo”. *sigh*

This saga will never end…

Details below:

Reader “Just Wondering” posted Gucci’s lyrics in the comment section a few days ago:

Your the type a Bitch old as hell still tryna rap,

And I’m the type a nigga young as hell an I run the trap,

Now your the type a freak say lick your Georgia PEACH,

You married to a lame and dat lame don’t wont no BEEF,

Now he the type a nigga that a old lame ass Bitch a want,

Aint never drank no beer aint Never rolled no Blunt

Now she the type a gurl aint got no ass on her back

No kurt aint got no money I heard she fuckin Cat

Now japes the kinda guy go both ways think I don’t know

I heard he fuckin kurt in ass on the D-Lo

Now jase the kinda guy tell you, you gon make millions

But he’s a pedophile on the low he fuck his children

Gucci was apparently going in on Big Cat aka Big Cat Records CEO Melvin “Mel-Man” Breeden in the song, which was written back in 2008.? He was reportedly upset with the label following the unofficial release of his album Murder was the Case, but he took the opportunity to go hard on someone named “Kurt” and “J” (or “Jase”).

Despite their prior beef, Gucci and his Brick Squad imprint eventually made up with Big Cat Records and the rapper even made a video where he publicly squashed their feud.

It’s your boy Gucci Man Le Fleur, back in conjunction with Big Cat Records,” he said. “You know how we’re rocking, Brick Squad Records back in conjunction with Big Cat Records.

Brick Squad to the death…all I gotta say is Brick Squad’s in the building rocking with Big Cat.

I’ve heard that Rasheeda and Big Cat are quite close and have been for some time. But that’s all I’ve got.

As far as these Gucci Mane diss track lyrics… I dunno who the hail he’s talmbout, but hopefully one of you trusty commenters will clue me in.
