Everyone has heard the story by now of how Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson head butted his wife, Evelyn Lozada

But oddly enough no one has seen her stitches.

Many have speculated that the entire situation is made for tv, however Chad & Ev’s reality show was ditched by VH1 right after Chad was ditched by the Miami Dolphins.

We may never know the true details of what transpired in that car that made the couple literally bump heads, but Evelyn has made her first public statement about the incident.

Details below…

Evelyn issued her first statement to TMZ about the incident, stating,

?I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me.”

Chad maintains that it was Evelyn who actually head-butted him during their blowout argument Saturday night in the POLICE REPORT.? He was arrested and booked for domestic battery.

Evelyn also says …

It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well.

The ‘Basketball Wife” has taken a ton of flack since this entire incident occurred. Especially in light of her very publicized bottle throwing nature on the popular VH1 reality show.

While both are clearly capable of dramatics, Evelyn has taken the brunt of the skepticism from the public.? Even her former BFF Jennifer William’s husband Eric had a few choice words about it, comparing his “knot” to hers on twitter…

I don’t know who’s right or who’s wrong between Evelyn & OchoCinco and domestic violence isn’t a joking matter…but I couldn’t help but laugh at that fool.

Eric Williams making fun of his #Knot was pure comedy!

Is it fair that Evelyn (who appears to be the victim in this situation) is catching so much flack?
