Kile, the youngest son born to Usher Raymond’s ex-wife Tameka Raymond and her first husband, television executive Ryan Glover, was on an inner tube on Lake Lanier when he was struck by a Waverunner. The accident caused a head injury that left Kile on life support for two weeks.
?It?s been grueling, but we?ve maintained an unrelenting base of faith,? Rev. Gregory Pollard of the Enon Church said.
Pollard said he is close friends with the family. He said it would not have been unusual for his family to be at the lake with the Glover family.
?This has been a trying time for me because Kile was close. He was full of life. He was a powerful young man,? Pollard said.
?There was no decision made by the family to take him off life support, for? him to make the transition,? Pollard said.
The Department of Natural Resources has said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the incident, which happened in the mouth of Big Creek near Holiday Marina. Authorities have not filed charges against Jeffrey Hubbard, the family friend who was driving the jet ski vehicle.
Kile’s funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2012.
