Phaedra Parks & Sheree Whitfield Each Have What It Takes To “Be A Hero” [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta along with her former cast mate Sheree Whitfield, who quit RHOA after she got fired a few weeks ago, did some good in the hood over the weekend.

Parks & Whitfield joined the Wish Upon a Hero Foundation for their “Be A Hero” event at Urban Fitness in Atlanta.

Wish Upon a Hero is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to just about anyone with things like living needs, healthcare needs, pet needs, service needs, and educational needs.

Sheree assisted a family requesting sensory toys for their Autistic child while Phaedra assisted a family seeking help with gas money to travel to doctor’s appointments for their daughter, who is suffering from leukemia.

I’m just going to act like I didn’t see that “Sherry” Sheree’ name shade in the video…. 😯 besides that, it looks like it was a pretty positive event.

Sheree brought along her daughter Tierra Fuller, who recently revealed that she wants to follow her mom’s footsteps into reality show realm.

Sheree presented Brianna and her family with $250 to assist them with purchasing toys and supplies for autistic children.

Phaedra’s family requested $250 for gas money so that they could make trips to/from their doctor’s visits. The high-profile attorney graciously went above and beyond, presenting Addy and her family with the $250 they asked for PLUS and additional $750 Walmart giftcard to assist in any other needs they may have.

According to Wish Upon A Hero’s website:

We are uniquely different than most charities because our mission is not focused on a single defined cause. The Wish Upon A Hero Foundation supports a broad range of needs. We are non-discriminatory of age, sex, location, or cause. We grant the wishes of newborns all the way to senior citizens.

Not only do we support the most well known causes in the world (Cancer, Heart Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, Down Syndrome, Autism, etc.) we have also become the organization that raises money and awareness for rare diseases and specialized disabilities.

Major props to both Phaedra and Sheree for volunteering their time and money for such a worthy cause and special thanks to Abigail Gerstner of Bordeaux PR and Wish Upon A Hero Events Director Jill Pavel for the invite!
