According to FoxNews, Wilson has made several verbal claims that she is indeed the winner but she still hasn’t produced the ticket to lottery officials.
Wilson’s 15 McDonald co-workers, who all participated in a lottery pool with her, all strongly believe she hasn’t claimed the dough because she’s doing some shady business to cut them out of their part of the winnings from a ticket she bought for their pool.
Even her statements of hiding the winning ticket somewhere inside the Baltimore-area fast food joint, has them feeling that she’s lying about that “single ticket” she claims to have purchased outside of the pool.
Wilson’s attorney confirmed Tuesday, that even he hasn’t seen the ticket, stating:
“I have not seen the ticket, nor do I want to see the ticket,” said attorney Edward Smith.
“We believe it to be a legitimate claim. When it is time to present the ticket or whatever it is that needs to be presented to the lottery commissioner, I am sure that we will be there.”
But where’s the ticket? If Wilson bought it separately, why on earth would she hide it at her job? And why the hell would she publicly reveal where a ticket worth MILLIONS is hidden. (How much do you wanna bet that McDonald employees and even patrons have been tearing up that joint trying to find her hiding spot?)
Maryland Lottery Director Stephen Martino made an announcement recently confirming that purported winner Wilson had not come forward to claim the prize and reminded everyone to check their tickets.
Since no one claimed the ticket … we would encourage people to look at their tickets very closely, especially if you purchased your ticket from the 7 Eleven in Baltimore County.
The ticket was purchased at 7:15 p.m, less than four hours before Friday’s Mega Millions drawing and?Maryland lottery officials have already reviewed the security tape from the 7 Eleven on the day the ticket was bought.
Something in the milk ain’t clean… but since Mirlanda got herself an attorney, perhaps it’s time for those 15 employees to “pool” together and secure one of their own.
Maybe Mirlande should consider what Jesus would do in this “messy” situation.
