Mugshot Mania ~ The Grim Reaper…

Remember that Pro-Wrestler who was sentenced to 32 years for not disclosing his HIV positive status to his 12 (and counting) sex partners? (Click HERE if you missed that)

Well we have another one and he’s right here in our backyard.? Meet Jamarlos Dobbs of Carroll, County Georgia.

Jamarlos, aka Marlo (I swear I’m not making that up), was recently sentenced to 10 years in jail for reckless conduct and by “reckless” I mean he knowingly spread HIV (the virus that causes AIDs) to several female victims.

Marlo even has a “grim reaper” tatted on his back with the caption “feel my pain.”? A tattoo prosecutors felt was evidence he was out to infect as many people as possible.

Details below…

According to WSBTV, at least three women came forward in 2011 reporting that Dobbs had sexual intercourse with with them and did not tell them he had HIV.

One of the victims, who dated Dobbs for about a year, spoke with news reporter Erica Byfield, stating:

“I just have a whole life ahead that I planned for myself and now that has all changed because of the cruelty of another person,” the victim said.

“I was hearing rumors that he was HIV positive, and I confronted him about it, and he told me it wasn’t true,” she said.

The mother of two, who requested anonymity,? went on to say that she went to the doctor for a checkup and her HIV test came back negative. A few months later, she started hearing the same rumors, so she went back to the doctor and unfortunately that time, it came back positive.

Carroll County Assistant District Attorney Vincent Faucette told Byfield he believes Dobbs infected the woman on purpose.

There was a tattoo on Mr. Dobbs back that had a depiction of a grim reaper and the caption, ?Feel my pain.?

Based on those facts, we believe Mr. Dobbs was knowledgeable about his status.

Investigators revealed that after searching through Marlo’s phone at the time of his arrest in 2011, he was having sexual conversations with at least 18 different women.

Faucette says Dobbs has known he was HIV positive since 2006 and there may be many more victims.

“If more victims come forward, we will indict Mr. Dobbs,” Faucette said.

The victim who spoke to Byfield has now dedicated her life to HIV awareness. She told Byfield she started her own foundation for victims of HIV crimes. She is hopeful her story will convince other victims to come forward and press charges against Dobbs.

There are so many questions I have surrounding this case but just like that I said in the case against that wrestler dude, YOU are responsible for YOUR body.

Wrap it up! ie use a condom… and stop letting the men make that decision for y’all.

And speaking of decision making… read “Love vs. Dopamine (Lust for Love)”? for a refresher course on how to decipher between the two.

This dude Marlo may be serving 10 years in prison, but the women involved are will all be serving a LIVE sentence dealing with health issues.

When will we ever learn….. *sigh*
