Mugshot Mania ~ Arrest Made in Attack of Man Wearing Skinny Jeans…

One down and three more to go.

Atlanta Police arrested one of three suspects in the videotaped beating of a 20-year-old gay man in southwest Atlanta early Saturday morning, the same day the community held a rally to denounce rampant crime and violence.

Christopher Cain (pictured above) was arrested Saturday (February 2, 2012) and charged with aggravated assault and robbery in connection with the videotaped beating of a gay man.

Video of the attack was placed online and quickly become viral, prompting authorities to investigate the crime.

The man assaulted in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Atlanta, 20-year-old Brandon White, soon came forward and spoke up about the senseless crime.

Cain, 18, was taken into custody without incident around midnight in the DeKalb County portion of the city and was transported to the Fulton County Jail.

Police say they now have identified two other men who allegedly took part in the beating, which occurred in front of a corner market at 1029 McDaniel Street in the southwest Atlanta neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

The men identified are reportedly members of the 1029 Jack City Gang but their names have not been released. There is a $15,000 reward still on the table for information leading to their arrests.

Federal authorities are also considering seeking federal hate crime charges against the suspects.
