With all that politicking under his belt, that the rapper/producer/politician has diplomatically brought the brotherhood of the 2 Live Crew back together and plans to revive his controversial rap group for a Summer 2012 tour.
Uncle Luke made the announcement Saturday (January 21, 2012) at the Sundance Film Festival, where he’s currently promoting his appearance in the short film “The Life and Freaky Times of Uncle Luke.”

“We support Luke as much as he supported us in our creative endeavor. We can’t wait to see the band back together,” says says Jillan Mayer, one of the creators of Life and Freaky Times.

According to VIBE, it’s a very serious endeavor and the company hopes Campbell’s star power will assist them in promoting their services in South Florida.
?As the company?s executive spokesman we will ask him to aggressively lead an expansion initiative to promote superior HIV care and services, beginning with local residents in South Florida and later expanding into a national campaign to support long term living and health with HIV/AIDS,? a rep for Progressive Care said in a statement.
