So while her RHOA cast mate Sheree Whitfield is keeping busy by building invisible houses and recording diss tracks aimed at NeNe’s grill, Leakes is moving past “reality” shows to “real” acting.

Leakes will appear on the season premiere of the show January 17, 2012 in an episode entitled “Yes/No” as a swim coach and recently confirmed via twitter that her character’s name on Glee is Coach Roz Washington.

NeNe also revealed a lil bit more about the storyline for all you “Glee-kers” out there (that IS what y’all call yourselves right?).

Details + additional spoiler stills from GLEE’s premiere episode below:

I don’t watch this show but I DID hear that NeNe can sang… so you Glee-kers out there should have no fear.? NeNe doesn’t plan to screw of up your performance sequences.

Leakes is also said to be the only reality show star that has been given the honor of appearing and according to her tweets be the rival coach of Sue Sylvester.

At least one GLEE cast member is stoked about NeNe’s performance.

A self-confessed Housewives fan, Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry in the series spoke with Andy Cohen on WWHL and said she was over the moon to have Leakes on the show.

‘We found out that her real name was Linnethia… which I am obsessed with now,’ she told Cohen. ‘She’s awesome. She plays the new swim coach… We literally raided her trailer.’

Leakes will appear in two episodes, including the Grease and Michael Jackson-themed episodes, both set to air next year.

Oh… and in related news, NeNe will be getting her acting on in SEVERAL television series. So even if she’s booted from RHOA, you may wanna get used to seeing her on the small screen.

Yup… you read right! NeNe has secured roles on BET’s The Game, Fox Network’s GLEE and of course The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
