Victor Diaz says he booked the group to perform their popular “Let’s Get Married” song as a surprise for his fiancee, and reached an agreement with their rep., cutting a check for $10,000 for the deposit and other costs.
But unfortunately for Diaz and his new bride, J.E. was a no show November 19th, the date of the wedding.
She met them at the alter in her white dress… she ain’t gettin no younger, they shoulda just did it… *sigh*
Jagged Edge says Diaz was duped and they had no idea they were even supposed to perform.
Additional details PLUS J.E.’s response below…
“They humiliated me and cost my wife her dream,” he says.
Jagged Edge claims that they were completely unaware of the booking and that Diaz may have been duped by a fake promoter.
A rep for the group released a statement saying:
They are very heartbroken and sad that [Victor’s] wedding got destroyed due someone using our name without permission.
As far as court goes … if the guy does decide to sue, good luck, because we didn?t agree to anything and he will see he had a forgery contract.
Wow… that really sucks. I surely hope J.E. didn’t eff up that man’s wedding for a few extra dollars.? I mean… it’s not like they’re in high demand for performances these days.? Or are they?
