While Tip and Tiny were celebrating the positive reactions from the screening of their show, a malicious rumor surfaced online that Tip had been arrested at the NYC airport. Grand Hustle execs promptly went into overdrive to deny the false reports…
Pretty soon, Tip himself jumped online to deny the reports and assure fans he was still on the straight and narrow.

Rumors of Tip’s NYC arrest quickly spread after a random site reported Tip had been picked up while going through a security checkpoint, on his way out of NYC following the promo run for his new VH1 show. The site claimed a “reliable source”? told them that a member of Tip’s entourage was questioned after TSA officers smelled marijuana and that entourage member ratted out T.I. as the one carrying the drugs and he was taken into custody.
The site even claimed T.I. had? been released on bond and given a new federal court date (December 17th).
Tip quickly jumped online to dismiss the rumors, stating:
Why are so many of you people expecting T.I. to fail? Hasn’t he proven his dedication yet?? *sigh*
The site that originally claimed to have “reliable sources” promptly deleted their post. I guess that settled that… 😕
