Chris Tucker is Setting Up for A Come Back After 4-Year Absence… [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Actor/Comedian Chris Tucker has been off the scene for a while… 4 years to be exact, but he’s apparently ready, willing and able for his big screen come back appearance.

Tucker, an Atlanta native and graduate of Columbia High School, hasn’t been in a film since 2007, when he last starred as Detective James Carter opposite Jackie Chan in Rush Hour 3, but rumor has it he made so much money from the series that he really didn’t have to.

According to the The Hollywood Reporter, the quick witted funny man/speed demon is now in talks to appear in a new film titled,? The Silver Linings Playbook for writer-director David O. Russell and The Weinstein Co.

Playbook, which is scheduled to shoot in the fall, stars Bradley Cooper as a high school teacher just released from a mental institution after four years and looking to reconcile with his wife. It’s an adaptation of the novel by Matthew Quick.

Tucker returned to stand up comedy earlier this year and also hit up a few late night television shows where he showcased his new imitation of friend and former President Bill Clinton, whom he has traveled with overseas.
