People move to the “A” everyday with caviar dreams and champagne wishes only to find out things aren’t as easy as what it appears.
Most ‘successful’ people around this city actually WORKED for what they’ve accomplished, while there are quite a few who breeze into town expecting a handout.
We get a such a bad rap down here about being materialistic, BUT every other second there’s yet another transplant on the way.? Apparently this reality show “star” has moved here after first taking a stab at L.A. (where he is rumored to have picked up his bad habit.)
There have been actors, singers, producers, even bloggers who set their sights on Atlanta, thinking it’s the land of riches and b*tches, only to find themselves broke and sleeping on the floor of someone they barely know.
If you couldn’t make it in your hometown, what makes you think Atlanta will be any different?? Bouncing from city to city only makes it appear you’re running from something.
Yeah, yeah… I completely understand the importance of networking and all that jazz, but at the end of the day, your talent will speak for itself no matter where you choose to be.
That being said… don’t get blinded by all the flashing lights. Be true and be you!
