Inga Marchand aka Foxy Brown aka the “Ill Na Na” recently posed for a new photoshoot that she hopes will assist in changing her tarnished image.
Marchand, best known for her temper tantrums and beauty supply store antics (click HERE to view mugshot and a list of her various criminal charges), recently revealed that she’s been unfairly labeled as a “Diva” and says that she’s just plain ‘ol Inga… a wholesome church-going kinda girl.
The Foxy character and Inga Marchand are two different people. My fianc? calls me Inga. No one around me calls me Foxy.
I go to church every Sunday. I go to Bible study every Friday night. I’m saved.

In her in-depth interview with the NYPost, Foxy goes on to say that she’s not that party chick y’all make her out to be…
“I live a different life,” she says. “I’m not at every party; I’m not?? seen everywhere. That’s why people still care about my brand. I’ve? never? whored myself out.”
“I’ve never stabbed, hurt, killed, stolen, anything,” she says. “But I? went to jail for a year. What is that? My pastor said to me the fact? that I’m not living under a bridge as a crazy woman, talking to myself,? is amazing.”
As further proof of her “good girl” status, Inga says that she always wanted to work in the criminal justice system…
“All my friends were in the park smoking weed and getting pregnant,” she says. “I didn’t want to be the young black girl having a baby, a baby’s father, being on welfare.
That wasn’t going to be my story. I wanted to be a criminal-justice attorney.”
Hold up! I had to insert a *side-eye* for real on that one!? Really Inga? You’re pushing it boo!
But I digress… *sigh*
Foxy’s claim to fame will always and forever be Jay-Z…
When she was 15, her cousin, a DJ, introduced her to a still-undiscovered Jay-Z, and she rapped on his debut album, “Reasonable Doubt.”
“Jay and I are each other’s history,” she says. “We discovered each other, basically. Our first record together was what blew both of us up.
We became Bonnie and Clyde.”

As far as her musical career, Brown says she plans to release a long-delayed album in 2011.
“Of course I want to release another album,” she says. “It’s not that I’ve been twiddling my thumbs. I’ve had major setbacks.”
As far as her “new” modeling career goes, Inga says she’s still considering Hugh Hefner’s $2 million offer for her to pose on the cover of Playboy Magazine.?
(Sidebar: She may be “saved” but she ain’t crazy!)
Foxy is also suing New York City for $100,000 for civil-rights violations, false arrest and intentional infliction of emotional distress after she was involved in an incident where she allegedly mooned her neighbor.
If she’s no longer the star she was in the ’90s, Brown said she’s proud of where she is today.
