Former Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn says he feels “violated” after cops pulled him over outside of Atlanta talkin bout he fit the description of someone “transporting drugs and guns.”
Dunn hit up his twitter account to vent frustrations about the incident:
Is this the new thing now? Allen Iverson can’t even drive around town in his Lambo…and Apollo Nida, husband of RHOA’s Phaedra Parks, was also detained under similar circumstances a few months ago.
TMZ spoke with a representative for Dunn who said that while he was definitely frustrated, he understood the officers were just trying to do their job.
As the son of a hard working police officer, I understand the stress that police officers are under.
The real lesson in all this is that Twitter is a powerful tool but what happened to me is the same thing that happens to a lot of people every day. I?ll take care of it through the appropriate channels just like everyone else has to.
Dunn has literally helped hundreds of families obtain homes through his “Warrick Dunn Family Foundation” so I’m pissed off even if he isn’t…
