Allen Iverson “Curses Out” Atlanta Police Officer…

Allen Iverson was understandably irate last week when an Atlanta Police officer randomly pulled over his Lambo.

Apparently, the car had a dealer tag, and after running it through a computer, the officer realized the tag was over two years old.

Iverson was even more pissed when the officer called a tow truck to impound his high priced whip after issuing him the ticket for expired tags.

So much so, that he yelled and cursed out the officer who was bold enough to pull him over. Angrily yelling ‘take it… I have 10 more’!

Details below:According to the police report obtained by the AJC, the former NBA baller hurled one expletive after another at the officer who pulled over his gray 2007 Lamborghini Murcielago around 6 p.m. on March 30th.

Take the vehicle, I have 10 more!

Police don’t have anything else [expletive] to do except [expletive] with me. … Do you know who I am?”

Iverson was stopped near the intersection of Peachtree and Piedmont roads and the officer says he stopped him only after he saw the sports car switch lanes without signaling. [insert side-eye here]

Iverson wasn’t driving the vehicle at the time, but was a passenger in his own car.

He reportedly grew impatient during the stop and wanted to get out and walk to a nearby restaurant.

Officer S.J. Durham wrote in the report, that Iverson was getting “irate” and the driver, Antwuan Clisby, was getting “angry.”? Their behavior prompted a call for backup. *sigh*

When Iverson heard the officer call for a tow truck, he got really steamed!

According to the officer, Iverson ranted for over 20 minutes and “went on and on” about who he was.

“I stated to Mr. Iverson, it really doesn’t matter who you are,” Durham wrote. “You tried to conceal your vehicle with a fake drive-out tag due to you not paying for your tags.”

We all know the tag fees on a Lambo is rather pricey and Clisby, Iverson’s driver, confirmed that by responding,

“Would you want to pay $10,000 for a tag?”

What a bizarre thing to say about someone who has “moneybagz” tatted on their hand.? But I digress.

Clisby’s statement prompted the officer to list $10,000 on the “value stolen” line in the police report…

[Sidebar: With friends like that who needs…. well…. nevermind!]

Iverson and his driver were released while a tow truck hauled away his prized Lamborghini.

The driver, Clisby, was cited for failure to signal while changing lanes and for driving a vehicle with an expired tag.

According to the report, Iverson eventually calmed down and returned to the scene.? According to the reporting officer, Iverson “apologized for disrespecting the police,” and stated “he was just upset about his car.”

All is well that ends well, right? At least Iverson didn’t have any guns and/or drugs on him…. this time! (remember this mugshot?).
