Aubrey “Drake” Graham hit up the red carpet of the 2011 Juno Awards in his hometown of Toronto, Canada with his lovely mom on his arm.
Drizzy Drake made his hosting debut at the awards show Sunday evening (March 27), but it wasn’t as big a night for the rapper as it could have been.
The hometown hero was nominated for six awards during Canadian music’s biggest night and ultimately went home without zero… zip… nada!? Not a single one.
The Thank Me Later star was the most nominated artist at the event, earning nods in both the Rap Recording of the Year and Artist of the Year categories. but the closest he would come to an award, was when he looked on as Justin Bieber received his.
“I hear those are actually heavy when you get to hold one in person,” joked Drake during the show.
Po Drake… but besides all that, am I the only one that’s noticed Drake’s “new & improved” image?? He’s gone from wrinkled plaid shirts & old navy cargo pants to designer suits.
Drake seems to be gettin’ his “grown man” on and I’m personally lovin’ the beard!!
