A “Fat Ho” Burger Joint? I Guess Fat Ho’s Gotta Eat Too… [VIDEO]

I’m super mad at the name of this new restaurant. “Fat Ho Burger”?? …. REALLY?? And did this really have to interview a random thick chick standing in front of the “Fat Ho” sign?

I hate y’all right now!!? But I digress…

You can have it your way.? Order a Fat Ho, a Fat Chicken Ho, a Super-Duper Fly Ho… it’s all on the menu at this new Waco, Texas eatery.

23 year old Lakita Evans decided that “Fat Ho” was the best name for her new burger joint and it’s apparently drawing in new customers as well as a ton of criticism…. especially from a “Christian” cafe around the corner.

Details PLUS video below:

Evans, a college graduate, explains her choice of the “Fat Ho” name:

?It?s not calling people a ho. It?s just like they say, ?Oooh, that ho is big,? or, ?That ho is tight!? ? she said. ?Look what?s going on in Japan,? she added. ?It?s like clear this world is not gonna get any better. Why cry and be depressed? The economy is bad. Somebody gotta keep a sense of humor around here.? She said the name came to her while she was watching a movie.

?I was watching ?Phat Girlz? . . . and they had like a fat ass burger and skinny ass fries,? she told KWTX.com.

A christian group who runs the “Gospel Cafe & Bookstore” around the corner is a bit taken aback by the name, stating that they wished Lakita would have chosen a “more sensitive name”.

“Would’ve been nice to think a little more sensitively,” Pastor Marsha Martie told local television station myFoxDFW.

There’s also a Facebook group asking Evans to change the restaurant’s name.

But Fat Ho Burgers’ owner Lakita Evans, who opened the joint, said critics are misinterpreting the name and it’s all in good fun.

I guess Christians don’t like hos…

Luckily for Evans, the publicity surrounding her controversial burger joint has reportedly been great for business. Last Wednesday, the cash-only business ran out of cash ? and then ran out of beef.
