Her appearance on the show has been criticized and dissected by those who know her, and I, personally, came up with one theory…. although it’s hilarious, it’s all an act!

Phaedra Parks is many things: a lawyer, wife, mother and now one of the stars of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’ But she admits what you see on TV isn’t necessarily the way she is in real life.
“What you see on the camera is a character, so I sometimes don’t feel it’s who I am as a person.”
Parks also explains why she wanted to do the show. “I thought it would be a great challenge.”
How does she balance her extremely busy life? “It’s just effective time management. It’s just prioritizing what’s important,” she explains. (source)
