I caught up with R&B singer Faith Evans on the red carpet of the 2010 Soul Train Awards last week. [PHOTO GALLERY] Faith looked marvelous that night and was such a joy to speak with.
Evans will embody the spirit of the Supremes? original lead singer, Florence Ballard.
A Detroit native, Florence Ballard paved the way for female entertainers but she has yet to be accurately portrayed so Faith, who’s never acted, has a heavy burden on her shoulders!
Check out video of my red carpet one on one with Faith Evans below:

Based off the book ?The Lost Supreme? by Peter Benjaminson, the screenplay for the biopic will attempt to reveal the true story behind Ballard’s life, which has been hidden & diluted for years.
The biopic plans to reveal shocking details of Florence?s life from her moments of joy and success to her devastating betrayal and the actual cause of her premature death at the young age of 32.
Ballard?s three daughters, who lost their mother as young children, gave preference in having Faith Evans portray their mother. One things for sure, the soundtrack will be off the chain!
FYI… Here’s the link to that One on One with Slim from 112 where he talked about Diddy, Faith and Bad Boy.
