VIDEO: Kanye West’s Matt Lauer Interview… [FULL]

Kanye West sat down recently with Today Show host Matt Lauer and apparently the interview took a turn for the worse when the network forced ?Ye to watch a clip of Bush speaking about his racist remarks.

Kanye took to his twitter account to express his outrage, stating:

?Man I?m heading to Abu Dhabi finna go to Ferrari Land YESSSS!!! But before I take off let me tell you how they did me at the Today show? I went up there to express how I was empathetic to Bush because I labeled him a racist and years later I got labeled as a racist?. While I was trying to give the interview they started playing the ?MTV? under me with audio!!!!!!!

I don?t mess with Matt Lauer or the Today Show ? and that?s a very nice way for me to put it! HE TRIED TO FORCE MY ANSWERS. IT WAS VERY BRUTAL AND I CAME THERE WITH ONLY POSITIVE INTENT.

I feel very alone very used very tortured very forced very misunderstood very hollow very very misused. I don?t trust anyone but myself! Everyone has an agenda. I don?t do press anymore. I can?t be everything to everybody anymore. I can?t be everybody?s hero and villain savior and sinner Christian and anti Christ!

That must have been one helluva interview!

In case you were wondering why Kanye’s so pissed, check out his full Today Show interview with Matt Lauer below:

In the video Kanye appears irritated that he’s forced to watch the Bush clip again. He tells Lauer:

?I didn?t need you guys to show me the tape and prompt my emotions to what I?m going to say. Pre-looking at his face, I came up here because I wanted to say something to him right after the fact. I don?t really have to do the TV stuff. This is reality, this is the real thing going on. I don?t need all the jazz.?

Attempting to take the high road and keeping his anger in check, the Chi-town rapper continued the interview by explaining why he made remarks against Bush in 2005 regarding his response to Hurricane Katrina.

?I?m here to man up to different mistakes that I made and speak to the moment when I pegged George Bush as a racist,? he said. ?I came here to say I?ve made mistakes and grown as a person and that it?s not as easy as boxing someone into a villain role or into a race role. I did not have the information, enough information in that situation to call him a racist. That might?ve been the emotion that I felt.?

Kanye is so upset about the interview that he’s sworn off all press. But he still thanks his fans for standing by him…

I’ve decided to fall back a bit on interviews in order to “sell my album” I can’t come up with some magic trick to make people like me. I’ve made mistakes I’ve paid the price now it is what it is. I’m gone make this art but I’m not going to be scrutinized as a human being.

No more Bush questions … no more Taylor questions… no more relationship questions…. and the music is unquestionable sooooo…..

Sometimes it’s not simple, some days it’s not easy… I just want to create. I love you guys, thanks for the support!
