CNN’s Don Lemon Makes Shocking Confession On Air… [VIDEO]

In light of the Bishop Eddie Long Sex Scandal CNN’s Don Lemon invited New Birth Missionary Church Members on air to speak up in support of their Bishop.

The young members were unyielding in their support of their church and didn’t seem fazed at the serious allegations brought forward by the 4 young men.

In America, nearly half a million children are sexually abused each year. Over the weekend, we found out CNN anchor Don Lemon was one of them. The revelation seemed to surprise him as much as it did the panel of young people he was addressing on live TV.

Lemon addressed his shocking confession immediately after the show via his Twitter account, stating:

During their admission of blind faith, Lemon showed them a news clip describing how Long related to one of the young men now accusing him of abuse.

According to the boy’s lawyer, Long allegedly started out by watching TV with the 17-year-old, laying his legs casually over him, asking for massages, explaining to him how special he was to get to enjoy Long’s company in this way.

After the clip, the young church members seemed unmoved. One young man even said that Long was a good mentor and that the things the accuser said amounted to “nothing.”

That’s when Lemon broke his silence.

“I am going to tell you something that I have never admitted on television. I was a victim of a pedophile when I was a kid, and these are the things that they do.”

Lemon went on to say that he didn’t even tell his own mother he’d been abused until he was 30.

I seriously applaud Lemon for having the courage to speak up about his situation. His strength shows others that it’s ok to come forward and address sexual abuse issues. Most victims of these horrible crimes remain silent due and it’s important that we support the one’s who are strong enough to tell their story.
