The M?et Ros? Lounge presents Ne-Yo?s Champagne Life and all I can say is… how you run out of Moet at a Moet sponsored event??
I just gonna give event coordinators the benefit of the doubt and assume that they were saving all the Moet for Ne-Yo.? I was told that people were being asked to pay $15 per glass after Ne-Yo arrived….really? At a Moet SPONSORED event?? Where they do that at?
I don’t really care for free liquor but don’t lure people in under the pretense that they’ll be treated to a “champagne life”. But I digress…
There was plenty of bottles to be held on the red carpet though!

OK… one more gripe and I’m done. The time and location changed just days prior to the event, originally it was scheduled for 7pm at the Ponce MF Sushi location, then was abruptly changed to 10pm at the Buckhead location.
The hoopla surrounding the location/time change combined with the lack of Champagne added fuel to the fire when Ne-Yo was no where to be seen.? He finally arrived around 12:30 or so, but by then most people were over it (including me).
I was asked to interview Ne-Yo but didn’t even get to see him because I was gone by the time he chose to arrive. Thank God for FreddyO for the pics cause if it wasn’t for him I would have felt it was a total waste of time!
Most of the photos you see around the net were taken prior to his arrival. Had the event been billed as a club party, it wouldn’t have been an issue. But it was presented to most as a listening event, which was why everyone was pissed when Ne-Yo wasn’t there.
It was a great crowd though and DJ Mars kept us all entertained in the meantime…
