Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Chris Chambers got married in late July to the same woman he claimed back in December was stalking and harassing his family. Yes… you read that right!
Chambers is pictured above kissing his lovely bride, Stacey Bernice Saunders, but back in November 2009, Saunders was facing 11 misdemeanor counts for allegedly stalking and harassing the wide receiver?s family!
This ish is better than a lifetime movie!
According to the SanDiegoTribune, Chambers was married to another woman and he and Saunder had had an extramarital affair.
Chambers, who acknowledged having an affair with Saunders, filed a request for a restraining order last summer, saying she “launched an incessant attack verbally on me, and now my wife, her mother and sister.”
The 31-year-old Chambers characterized the calls, text messages and e- mails as “abusive, vulgar and irrational.” Chambers’ restraining order request was dropped in late June after neither he nor Saunders showed up for a hearing on the matter. [CLICK HERE to read more on the stalking allegations]
A week later, Chambers filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. [Say word?]
The drama between Chambers and Saunders is what many believe led to Chambers? release from the San Diego Chargers last November.
Chambers was later claimed off waivers by Kansas City, where he went on to catch 36 passes for 608 yards and four touchdowns in nine games.
According to Clark County, Nevada records, Chris Chambers married Stacey Saunders on July 24, 2010 in Las Vegas.
