Bow Wow Faces Lawsuit After Concert No-Show?

Bow Wow is being sued by a concert promoter in Federal court after he pocketed cash for two concerts but never delivered a performance!

According to the lawsuit, Bow (aka Shad Gregory Moss) took a $50,000 initial deposit to secure his presence.? The promoter, Brian Gould says he spent another $43,000 promoting the May 31, 2009 show for the performer. The first show was canceled through no fault of Gould’s but was soon rescheduled.

On Sept. 5, 2009 the concert proceeded as planned, as part of a “Back 2 School Jam,” sponsored by charities and youth organizations, including Mothers Against Drunk Driving and DARE. To the disappointment of all the lil kiddies in attendance, Bow Wow was a no-show.

Gould and his company, Macsimum, say they are out of $93,000, plus lost profits and damage to their reputation. Gould also seeks damages for breach of contract. (source)
