Alice Tan Ridley, mother of ‘Precious’ star Gabourey Sidibe, appeared on ‘America’s Got Talent’ and simply blew everyone away!
Ridley, 58, has spent the past 20 years singing in the NYC subway system, where she earned extra money to support her family. She continued singing for tips even after her daughter won acclaim for her role in the Lee Daniel’s directed film. Someone finally convinced her to take her talent to the stage.
