T.I. announced yesterday that he’ll be the new spokesperson for Remy Martin Cognac. Tip revealed to Atlanta radio station V–103 that he just returned from France, where he put the finishing touches on the deal.
It was a wonderful trip. One of the main purposes for the trip was for me to go to Cognac, France and really just solidify this deal. I’m now the official endoser and global spokesman for Remy Martin cognac.
I went to the headquarters of Remy Martin, which is outstanding! Barrels upon barrel of vintage stock of the finest quality of grapes. It was mindblowing… for real.
T.I. is starring in the motion picture Takers opposite Chris Brown, Michael Ealy and Idris Elba, which is scheduled for release Aug. 20 and says he?s also considered the possibility of revisiting the gritty urban classic ATL for a sequel.
As for an ATL 2, Tip said he is real hesitant to touch something that impacted so many lives. ?We?ve been tossing that around for quite some time,? he told 107.9?s Ricky Smiley. ?ATL was real and [relatable] to a lot of people?s lives. If we do it, it has to be correct. I don?t want to mess that up. If we find a way to do that, I?m in.?
Tip will be hosting his King Camp that works with underprivileged youth of Atlanta. He’ll be taking 40-60 underprivileged kids and working with them on academics social skills.
