Meet Moustapha Bayo, 36.? Mr. Bayo lost his coveted job at the local IHOP recently and thought it would be a bright idea to return to the restaurant armed with a machete and a handgun in an effort to get his job back!
According to the AJC, after Bayo was fired from his job at IHOP Wednesday, he reportedly showed up Thursday armed with a machete and a handgun hidden in a paper sack.
Bayo threatened to kill one of the managers, a 61-year-old man, and forced the manager to the ground while demanding $250,000 in cash.
He then ordered the manager into his own car and had him drive a short distance. Bayo soon tossed the paper sack out of the car window, according to the victim, and instructed the victim to return to the restaurant location (Lockeway Drive near Alpharetta).
When they arrived back at the business, the Manager convinced Bayo that he would be able to get his job back, which led to Bayo returning Friday just before noon.
When he reported to “work” the next day, investigators were waiting for him when he arrived and he was promptly arrested.
Bayo now sits in the Forsyth County Jail where he’s facing a multitude of charges, including kidnapping armed robbery and aggravated assault.
