Lil Wayne is facing more legal woes!? The Young Money CEO, who is currently behind bars serving time in New York’s Rikers Island, has been hit with a lawsuit surrounding his hit song “Lollipop.”
After being sued by Karma-Ann Swanepoel for sampling “Once” on “I Feel Like Dying,” and Darius “Deezle” Harrison for royalties on “Mrs. Officer,” Wayne is now being sued by producer Jim Jonsin over royalties from “Lollipop.”
According to the New York Post, Jonsin is suing for $500,000, claiming he has yet to receive any royalties for work on what is one of Lil Wayne’s biggest singles.
This isn’t the first time Jonsin and Wayne have been involved in a dispute. When Weezy was sued by Swanepoel a year ago, he shifted the blame towards Jonsin for not clearing the sample.
