Nightline Face-Off: Why Can’t Successful Black Women Find A Man? [VIDEO]

First it was CNN’s in depth expose’ about Black Women being too Picky and now ABC’s Nightline has followed up with their own panel of experts ready to give insight on Black woman and their relationship issues.

Comedian/Author Steve Harvey moderates a panel consisting author/actor Hill Harper, journalist/VH1 star Jacque Reid, Comedian and ?The View? panelist Sherri Shepherd and author Jimi Izrael.

The show was filmed in Atlanta (surprise…surprise) and aired last night (April 21st). The hot topic on the table was why successful black women can?t get a man. Is it education? is it societal issues?

According to the press release for the taping it’s because there’s more educated Black women than Black men:

“Black college educated women (in the United States) outnumber black college educated men 2 to 1. Considering all the other factors that could lend to this disproportion, it’s not surprising people wonder why many successful black women cannot find a man.”

That’s the premise of the argument, but of course the panelists have their own opinions. In case you missed it, watch it in it’s entirety and discuss:
