Referencing his time behind bars, T.I. has compared his next project, King Uncaged to Pac’s All Eyez On Me,? which was released after Shakur served his prison time.
This is the most significant return from incarceration that the game has had since then.
Tip spoke with Rolling Stone on his release and wanting to deliver work comparable to 2Pac:
Just given the enormous success of that project, everyone’s expecting the same results.?I just want to meet the expectations, if not surpass them.
T.I. marks his official mainstream return, with the release of King Uncaged in August. Speaking on what we can expect he says:
Some songs talk about my time in prison ? how?I was affected by that, the way I’ve grown from that, things I see now that I may have not seen then.

I can already see the similarities as well lyrically.? When Tip raps on “I’m Back”, his first single, you can feel the pent up energy in every word.
