Looks like Jaheim‘s notorious purple lips are dark for a reason!
The soulful singer was charged with drug possession in New Jersey a few days ago after acting erratically during a routine police stop.
According to the NJ Report:
Jaheim Hoagland, 32, of Hillsborough was pulled over near Royce Brook Golf Course on March 28 for allegedly traveling 65 mph in a 35 mph zone and was then charged with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.
Hillsborough Police reported that they could smell a strong odor of raw marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Hoagland gave police consent to search his vehicle after yelling at authorities, police said.
During the search, Hillsborough Police allegedly noticed a small bud of marijuana underneath the driver?s seat. Police said they also observed several cigar wrappers, cigar shaving and cigar paper, which is consistent with marijuana use.
Hoagland was also charged with speeding.

It’s not the first time Jaheim has been popped with a bag of kush in Jersey. Back in 2004, Jaheim was caught with less than 50 grams in his 2004 Silver Mercedes.
Back then he made accusations that Hillborough township police had planted the marijuana in his vehicle and assaulted him during his arrest. Jaheim also alleged that he?d been the victim of police harassment since moving to Hillsborough.
The township Police Department?s Internal Affairs conducted an investigation of into the accusations of police misconduct made Jaheim? and concluded officers followed procedures.
His drug charges were also thrown out in that case after the judge ruled the search of his vehicle was unlawful. (Read more)
And here were are 6 years later and Jaheim gets “got” again by the same authorities. Let’s see if he’s as lucky this go round…
