“The Hands That Touched A King” ~ Michael Jackson’s Stylist Reveals His Hair… [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Who knew that Michael Jackson’s former personal hair-stylist, Lynda Parrish lives in the “A”? Certainly not I. But when DC2squared prepared a post for SFTA about the King of Pop’s hair arriving in Atlanta, I took it as a joke.

My sarcasm combined with D’s post, prompted a VIP invite for us both from the Chuva Group for their “The Hands That Touched A King” Exhition. Of course we couldn’t resist…

This event will also unveil for the first time, exclusively through CHUVA group, the actual hair unit worn by the one and

only, MICHAEL JACKSON, during the announcement of the ?This Is It? concert series. For this one of a kind collection,

CHUVA group has partnered with the world famous Atlanta sculptor, Charlie Smith, to create a custom sculpture to artfully

display Ms. Parrish?s work. In addition to the featured hair unit, Ms. Parrish will also style wigs on three ?live mannequins,?

showcasing both her unique talents and stunning clothing designed by Heather Jones, international fashion designer from

Trinidad & Tobago.”

I’ll spare you the details about how I strolled into the venue all casual while there were ladies walking around in ball gowns plus several gents were in black tie.? Yeah… I’ll spare you that story, since I obviously missed that memo…

Besides the black tie creepiness, the event itself was amazing. A show that Michael himself may have been proud of… that is, if he wanted everyone to stand around eating hors d’oeuvres while oo0gling his hair during cocktail hour [insert side-eye here].

Ms. Parrish revealed that she “inherited” the units from Michael Jackson’s estate, and if memory serves me correctly, Parrish is still fighting it out in court over some of her unpaid styling fees.

TMZ reports that Parrish is one of the claimant?s against Michael?s estate, alleging that he still owes her over $212,000 for her services.? This latest development may be part of her effort to recoup her lost earnings.

Parrish admits that the death of the legendary icon turned her life upside down, since she was also planning on touring with him during the “This Is It” tour.? Parrish has since moved on and is now working specifically with the CHUVA group, which specializes in image and branding services.

I’d like thank The CHUVA Group for the invite, although a bit creepy, it was definitely worth experiencing.
