Don’t go off the deep end yet. Wayne’s OK but he’s accepted a new job while in jail
Lil Wayne aka Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. is spending his days at the notorious Riker;s Island penitentiary making a difference amongst his fellow prisoners.
Wayne, who recently launched a website where he’s answering some of the fan mail he receives daily, accepted a position where he’ll “watch” and prevent prisoners with suicidal tendencies.
According to his ex-wife BET reality show star Antonia “Toya” Carter:
Wayne has a job — they got him on suicide watch for other prisoners. He watches the crazy prisoners and makes sure they don’t kill themselves.
He likes the job even though they don’t pay him much.
I actually can see this working out well for Wayne. Lots of males look up to him and I’m sure those in awe of his superstar status would be glad to take his advice.
Imagine… Wayne will be the guy telling you not to hang yourself. I guess all of that Twitter philosophizing was real. Who knew?
