ATL Hip-Hop Beef ~ Shots Fired at Local Atlanta Clothing Store *UPDATE*

Apparently the truce is over.? Several sources have confirmed that several members of Young Jeezy’s camp came to blows earlier today with members of Gucci Mane’s posse.

The two camps have been involved in a heated feud that dates back to 2005, which supposedly ended last December during an appearance on DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz show on Hot 107.9

Today the two camps came to blows in the middle of downtown Atlanta causing the popular Walter’s clothing store to close after gunfire was exchanged:

According to the AJC:

The fight started around 4 p.m. Thursday when Mane’s group walked into the store — popular with celebrities — and spotted Jeezy’s associates, said witness Patrick Morrison.

“There was a physical altercation inside the location between several men,” Atlanta Police spokesman James Polite confirmed to the AJC. One of the men produced a weapon “and as a result a private armed security guard of a local entertainer discharged his weapon.”

Polite said the security guard, employed by local rapper Waka Flocka, has been detained.

Flocka, aka Juaqin Malphurs, is a member of Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad. It is unknown at this time if this incident is related to rapper Waka Flocka Flame’s shooting and armed robbery attempt that occurred on Old National Hwy back in January.

Meanwhile, Gucci Mane, aka Radric Davis, is serving time at the Fulton County jail for a probation violation. He is set to be released in May and Young Jeezy is currently on tour with Jay-Z.

*sigh*? Silly rappers…

*UPDATE 3/4/10 7:22pm* According to FreddyO:

Apparently Waka Flocka, who was in the store shopping was approached by a man and everything went downhill from there; someone alerted the unidentified man of Waka?s whereabouts..

Story has it that Waka Flocka ?and the man had been beefing since an altercation that happened in Miami a few months ago. The Man wanted to get it popping and that?s what he did. After a tussle and fight throughout the entire Walter?s store, with customers, gunfire rang out.

In the end The Unidentified man left the store while Waka was left with a bloody nose.

Stop the violence!
