Evander Holyfield Agrees to Marriage Counseling

Evander Holyfield is off the hook for allegedly beating his wife and then jetting away for NBA All-Star Weekend. Candi Holyfield, Evander’s 3rd wife, filed a temporary order of protection against her boxer husband last week after they argued over the heat and tithes….but now she has decided to drop all charges and take her husband back.

Evander has agreed to attend marriage counseling sessions with Candi, which is why she says she decided to drop the charges and halt her steps toward divorce court.

Sources claim that the only reason she filed in the first place was because her family was pressuring her. After their fight, she was so angry with Evander that she went ahead and filed for it without realizing it would make such waves in the media.

I’m sure that Candi, the mother of two of Holyfield’s 11 children, came to her senses after she thought about the financial ramifications of her allegations. She agreed to put any divorce talks on ice as the pair attempt to iron out their differences.

Holyfield has had a run of bad luck lately and is said to be in severe financial straits [i.e. BROKE!].? He’s? scheduled to return to the ring on April 24, 2010 in a bout against Francoise Botha in Las Vegas.
