Soulja Boy and Waka Flocka Flame have both faced their share of trouble these past few months. Soulja Boy (aka Deandre Cortez Way) popped his jailhouse cherry after he was arrested in Henry County back in October 2009, while Waka Flocka (aka Juaqin Malphurs), was shot in an armed robbery attempt.
SB ran from Henry County police after authorities raided a home in McDonough, Georgia where he was allegedly filming of a video shoot.? His “A”zz took off running as an officer walked up to the house and was arrested when he came back moments later.
He’s now been sentenced in the case.?
No worrys kiddies. SB won’t have to spend time in the clink. His punishment for running like a punk?? A year’s probation + a $1,000 fine.? Such a cheap price for street cred.
For those of you who have been inquiring about Waka Flocka Flame… he’s doing much better and has been released from an Atlanta area hospital.

I’ve been so out of the loop lately, but GossipOnThis has been keeping me updated on the story. Apparently, the rapper also called in to Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9 and revealed that the person who shot him was actually a hit man who was too scared to finish his job.
?He was so scared, he let me get out the car and grab what I tried to get from him,? Flocka said. ?He hit me in my arm and my whole right side went out. Trust me, he could have did his job if he wasn?t scared. That?s the word out to him and his people??
The alleged “hit man”, who still hasn?t been identified, managed to snatch Waka Flocka Flame?s jewelry and while most sources reported he was shot in the arm, Wack Flocka’s lung was pierced with a gunshot wound.
I’m just glad he made it out alive. He and Soulja Boy both need to regroup and take it easy on them streets.
