The High Price Of Cheating: Atlanta Billboard Puts Exec On Blast

An angry jumpoff decided she’d up one on her cheating executive boyfriend by placing costly billboards in several cities. The mistress, YaVaughnie Wilkins, 41, picked out images of herself cuddling up to her ex-boo businessman Charles E. Phillips, an advisor to US President Barack Obama, and then had them made into posters, after he returned to his wife.

YaVaughnie is said to have paid approximately $50,000 each for several billboards located in hot spots across the country. One in particular may have grabbed your eye if you’re in Atlanta. It was located on the corner of North Avenue and Piedmont Road and called the Oracle exec the eternal soul mate of a woman who’s not his wife.

To go a step further, YaVaughnie created a Web address of an online photo album containing what appears to be eight years worth of snaps of the duo vacationing, dancing, drinking, canoodling and what n0t…

There are also dozens of florist cards signed “Charles” bearing messages like “I’m sorry, please forgive me,” “I’m crazy about you” and “We’re going to have a great life, stick with me.”

In addition to being co-president for Oracle, Phillips was appointed to President Barack Obama’s Economic Recovery advisory board. He kinda resembles Barack but that besides the point.

The exec, has since admitted his indiscretions in a prepared statement:

?I had an 8? year serious relationship with YaVaughnie Wilkins,” the statement said. “My divorce proceedings began in 2008. The relationship with Ms. Wilkins has since ended and we both wish each other well.”

YaVaughnie’s friends hit the net to reveal that she’s the injured party in this situation and that Phillips lied to her from the get go:

“I can assure you he portrayed himself as having been legally divorced in 2003. Their closeness and the fact that heir relationship was very public led no one to believe otherwise. They attended family & professional events as a couple, lived together for 8 years & bought a home about 2 years ago. I was a guest at numerous of their parties and he introduced her to numerous people, including his son, as his girlfriend”

“There was never any indication there was a third party in their relationship. Charles and YaVaughnie spent quite a bit of money on their estate so it doesn’t make sense that things have turned out this way. The realtor at Coldwell Bankers and contractors at Genesis, Inc. and Bethe Cohen Design associated with the couple have nothing but glowing things to say about YaVaughnie and Charles. If he is married, YaVaughnie did not know. She believed him, as we all did, when he said he was divorced.”

Too much going on!? Read more of the story here

The billboards where placed in Manhatton, San Francisco and Atlanta and no one is sure about the couple’s A-town connection. I can only assume that YaVaughnie found out that Mr. Corporate Exec had a few more jumpoffs in this city as well and wanted to put him on blast all over America.

The Atlanta billboard has since been removed amidst the controversy (I hope she got a refund) but it was up most of the week. It was taken down sometime between Thursday evening and Friday afternoon, after the story broke.

The billboards also displayed an online address to YaVaughnie’s Web site chronicling their lives together. The Web site, has also been taken down.

Does he deserve it? I dunno…. but was this really worth spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in ad dough?
