Atlanta Mayoral candidate Kasim Reed has been officially endorsed by some of Atlanta’s music industry elite. Several notable A-town celebs joined Reed in a recent campaign rally to raise funds and to create voter? awareness about the upcoming run-off. Fellow ATLien Fonzworth Bently served as host for the evening, and gave us his take on why Kasim should be the next mayor of Atlanta. Others who took part in the festivities included, Antwan “Big Boi” Patton, Monica, Ryan Glover, Ne-Yo,?Devyne Stephens and more.

It really doesn’t matter who endorses whom. What does matter is that you get out and vote in the run-off. I was talking to a friend yesterday who was like, “yeah…I voted for Kasim the first time” and I quickly told him that if he doesn’t vote again on or before Tuesday, December 1st, it won’t count.? People have a history of not returning to the polls for a run-off but let’s all change that way of thinking. Your vote matters! Didn’t you learn anything from the presidential election… *sigh*
