The show, entitled The Michael Vick Project, will trail the football player on his controversial comeback with the Philadelphia Eagles while also examining his troubled childhood and legal troubles stemming from his infamous 2007 arrest for running a dog fighting ring.
On the new docu-series, Vick explains:
?I just want people to really get to know me as an individual. What I want to do is change the perception of me. I am a human being. I?ve made some mistakes in the past, and I wish it had never happened. But it?s not about how you fall, but about how you pick yourself up.?
I’m happy for him and will definitely be supporting his endeavors. The show is set to premiere in early 2010 and the Vick haters are already busy. Check out what PETA has to say below:
