Reverend Al Sharpton and Joe Jackson got together today for an impromptu press conference. They tried to prepare Joe’s image by addressing last night’s Red Carpet debaucle, as well as revealed plans for a few memorial and tributes. I dunno bout you guys but anytime Sharpton is involved I get pretty nervous.? Things are gonna get messy and we know it but does Al HAVE to attach himself so soon?
Papa Joe began his portion of the conference by saying, ?I wish that Michael could be here to see all this.? He went on to say that Michael will be most remembered for his charity work and stated that ?Sometimes he would go and cry about it because he felt sorry for the people he was helping,? When asked if the funeral would be private, Joe said, ?I?ve never heard of a private funeral.?
As questions arose about Michael?s children, of whom Michael?s mother was just granted temporary custody, Joe said, ?They?re happy with the kids that they?re around, cause we have kids back there that are small just like they are. They was never around other kids, they?re happy.?
Interpretation? Joe and Al have big things planned, Michael’s funeral will be huge and Papa Joe feels that Mike’s kids weren’t treated well by Mike… *sigh*
