Phelps Cites Young Jeezy Among Top 8 Influences

Olympic Gold medalist, Michael Phelps recently cited the 8 influences that led to his award winning performance in an interview with the?NY Times. ?Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy was among the influcences named that led to Phelps’ winning eight gold medals in Bejing. ?His particular favorite? ?”Go Getta” featuring Chester the Molester R. Kelly. ? ?

Well now, Jeezy has stated that Phelps “people” have contacted his “people” and talks are in the works for a formal meeting:

?It would be great if I could holler at Phelps,? Jeezy said during a break from his nationwide promotional tour for his upcoming CD, ?The Recession?. ?And it?s a compliment that that man found inspiration in the music I do for the streets over here, over there in Beijing?. (Source)
