Ne-yo held his annual?Mother’s Day Brunch for 50 single and foster mothers from the metro Atlanta area Sunday at the Loft in Castleberry Hill.? The event was invitation only and?was sponsored to raise awareness of the need to drastically reform the U.S. foster care?system.? Ne-yo’s mother was present, however Ne-yo?was unable to attend this year’s event.??Don’t worry though, John Legend took up?the slack and?gave the?mothers a heartfelt performance.?
On a side note, Sandra Rose is reporting that Andre “3000” Benjamin’s mother, affectionately known in the “A” as “Ma Benjamin” was also unable to attend the event due to damage received to her fayetteville?home during Sunday morning’s?tornados.? We wish her the best and pray for all of the families affected by this weekend’s storms.
