LeBron James brought “thunder snow” and his girlfriend, Savannah to the “A” this weekend Eighty81 celebrated “A Night with LeBron James.” The event was held at MF Buckhead and was THE place to be Saturday night. LeBron shared the spotlight with A-town celebs like Polow Da Don, Bryan-Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri, D. Woods, Jazze Pha, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and more.? Check out a few flix below:

Several Atlanta celebs also braced the cold and the ice to sit courtside as the Atlanta Hawks lost to LeBron’s Cleveland Cavaliers last night. The birds just couldn’t pull through this time as LeBron James scored 26 points, including the winning free throw with 1.6 seconds left in the game, leading the Cavaliers to their seventh win in eight games. Usher Raymond visited Washington, DC last week to testify before the Committee on Education and Labor. The committee was conducting a hearing to examine how to renew America through national service and volunteerism and Usher spoke about his New Look Foundation and how he could help engage youth to become more active in their communities.

Great job Usher! Do we see politics in your future?

I’m still cracking up at Usher in that beanie! Check out this old video of Monica showing up Brandy on stage in an old performance of “The Boy is Mine.” Monica was killin the style game even back then! No wonder Brandy’s still so salty.

Flix ~ Tameka Raymond Headed Home + Usher Didn’t Know?

Tameka Foster Raymond was spotted at Brazil’s Airport of Guarulhos yesterday headed home after recovering in a Brazilian hospital after her liposuction plans were spoiled. Mrs. Raymond spent 11 days recovering from cardiac arrest suffered immediately prior to undergoing the plastic surgery procedure. Her hubby, Usher left a few days earlier amidst speculation that he’s pissed off at Tameka’s decision to have the surgery in the first place.

Reports have surfaced which claim Usher had no knowledge of his wife’s travel plans to Brazil and that he definitely didn’t approve of her having plastic surgery. It’s also being reported that Tameka lied to Brazilian doctors about the time frame of the birth of her last child claiming she’d given birth 4 months ago when in fact her son is only two months old.

I said it on Twitter yesterday and I ain’t ashamed to say it here too… I would be p*ssed “A”zz hell if I went in to have lipo, almost died and woke up to the same fat on my tummy! No joke. Life is precious and her decisions may have been flawed, but Tameka faces the daily scrutiny from a hateful public. I’m not saying her actions were OK….but I understand.? I’m just glad she came out of this OK.

Grammy Drama ~ Plastic Surgery Complications for Usher’s Wife + Chris Brown Arrested After Alledged Rihanna Assault

Usher Raymond promptly canceled his performance at Clive Davis? pre-Grammy party due to a family emergency. The emergency? Well apparently Tameka was in Brazil to get a few nip/tuck procedures and experienced severe complications during her plastic surgery. A neurosurgeon, Dr. Gabriel Hunt of LA?s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, has also traveled to South America to tend to Tameka. Josh Groban filled in for Raymond during Davis? event and Usher’s camp has issued no comments. Foster, a 37-year-old stylist, recently gave birth to the couple?s second child, Naviyd Ely Raymond. The couple?s first child, Usher Raymond V, was born in November 2007.

Grammy 2009 had no shortage of drama in that Chris Brown and Rihanna were no-shows due to a rumored domestic altercation.
