Toya Wright Celebrates 29th Birthday With Memphitz, T.I., Phaedra Parks & More… [PHOTOS]

Antonia “Toya” Wright celebrated her 29th birthday in Atlanta last night (October 29, 2012).

Toya, whose birthdate is actually October 27th, recently returned from an extended trip to her hometown of New Orleans where she also partied for her big day.

Toya, joined by her hubby MempHitz and daughter Reginae Carter, held a private birthday dinner at Ocean Prime restaurant.

Attorney Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta as well as Clifford “T.I.” Harris joined Toya for the celebration.

Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and his lovely wife Sherlita were light years ahead during his annual Big Kidz Foundation Halloween costume party last weekend (October 27, 2012)

The cute couple were color coordinated as Big dressed up as Darth Vader from Star Wars and Sherlita rocked a marvel comics’ punisher costume.

Memphitz Files Defamation Lawsuit Against ‘Whassername’ & Love & Hip Hop Atlanta…

Looks like Whassername from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta took things a bit too far and now it’s Mickey “MeMpHiTz” Wright who done “shook da table!!”

Just a day after the final episode of LHHA’s reunion show aired (click HERE if you missed it), MeMpHiTz struck back with a vengeance, and it’s not like he didn’t try to warn y’all…

So y’all done pissed MeMpHiTz off so much that he went and filed a lawsuit against “Whassername,” her manager Mona Scott-Young and all parties involved in the creation and distribution of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta!

Weave Free Wednesday – Toya Wright, Miss Free & ME!! [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Toya Wright shared the photo above of her weave-less tresses yesterday (July 24, 2012).

I noticed her photo as I was sitting in the chair taking on my own “weave-free” challenge.

As a certified member of the weave queen club, I’ve always felt that the versatility of fake hair far exceeds the time and effort it takes to take care of my own. But that’s just me.

Then again… do y’all emember the F*ck Natural Hair chick I posted last year?

While her sentiments are valid, there comes a time when it’s 105 degrees outside to just let it go.

So while I’m sure there are many other (including Beyonce), who have opted to shed the weaves & wigs because of the weather), I’m calling this Weave Free Wednesday (cause we never know how many inches of brazilian hair tomorrow may bring).

Jacida “Cita” Carter the mother of hip-hop icon Lil Wayne, tied the knot April 14, 2012 in a lavish ceremony.

Cita married a handsome gentleman named Avery Goff in a “Cash Money” wedding where both Baby and Wayne shared duties of escorting the lovely bride down the aisle.

Wayne‘s little brother Semaj, daughter Reginae Carter, ex-wife Toya Wright and her new husband Mickey “MempHitz” Wright all took part in the ceremony.

Two of Lil Wayne’s other baby mama’s Nivea and Sarah as well as his current girlfriend were there as well as rapper Mack Maine and more.

“Yeah, I went to Wayne’s mom’s wedding,” Toya Carter told Ryan Camron of Atlanta’s V-103. The mother of Wayne’s oldest child said Anita Baker was on hand to perform at the wedding.

“She was great. I was like, ‘Wow, she really did her thing.’”

Comedian Kevin Hart celebrated his 32nd birthday during Essence Music Fest 2012 with a star-studded celebration held at The Saint Hotel in New Orleans (July 6, 2012).

The “Think Like A Man” funnyman drew out an impressive list of who’s who which included Trey Songz, Tank, actress LisaRay, Denise Vasi, Charity Shea and just about all the cast of VH1′s popular sitcom Single Ladies came through as well as real “housewife” of Atlanta, Cynthia Bailey and her hubby Peter Thomas.

Other guests included, Denzel Washington, Tisha Campbell, Tamar & Trina Braxton, Eva Marcille, Lance Gross, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Michael Ealy, Anthony Mackie, Lahmann Rucker, Michael Jai Walker, Denyce Lawton, Shaunie O’Neil, Kevin Liles and the list goes on and on…
