Usher’s wife, Tomeka Foster Raymond is back from Brazil and still recovering from a botched plastic surgery procedure. Mrs. Raymond recently reached out to SandraRose to clear the air about rumors that she has body disturbance issues and reveals that she still plans to persue the same procedure that almost cost her her life:

Speaking through our mutual friend, Tameka explained that she has had 5 babies and she made the decision to get a tummy tuck to remove “the extra rolls” around her abdomen area. Tameka didn’t explain why she chose to leave the country to have the surgery done. She said she remembered going under anesthesia in a Brazilian clinic. After she awoke, she felt around her abdomen area only to find the extra rolls were still there. That was when she was told she had suffered a heart attack before the procedure could begin.

Tameka confirmed that she is still going forward with the liposuction/tummy tuck procedure here in Atlanta since she is not planning on having any more children. She stressed that she does not have body image issues of any kind. She indicated that there is no truth to the rumors that Usher is unhappy in their marriage (he was out running errands yesterday when she called).

I have no words for this insanity….but I wish her well.

Tomeka Foster Raymond was spotted at Brazil’s Airport of Guarulhos yesterday headed home after recovering in a Brazilian hospital after her liposuction plans were spoiled. Mrs. Raymond spent 11 days recovering from cardiac arrest suffered immediately prior to undergoing the plastic surgery procedure. Her hubby, Usher left a few days earlier amidst speculation that he’s pissed off at Tomeka’s decision to have the surgery in the first place.

Reports have surfaced which claim Usher had no knowledge of his wife’s travel plans to Brazil and that he definitely didn’t approve of her having plastic surgery. It’s also being reported that Tomeka lied to Brazilian doctors about the timeframe of the birth of her last child claiming she’d given birth 4 months ago when in fact her son is only two months old.

I said it on Twitter yesterday and I ain’t ashamed to say it here too… I would be p*ssed “A”zz hell if I went in to have lipo, almost died and woke up to the same fat on my tummy! No joke. Life is precious and her decisions may have been flawed, but Tomeka faces the daily scrutiny from a hateful public. I’m not saying her actions were OK….but I understand.  I’m just glad she came out of this OK.

He’s the first man on my banner so it’s only fitting that my first post would be about my favorite couple Ushmeka! Obviously rumors of their demise have been exaggerated! Usher Raymond and his ride or die chick Tameka Foster Raymond have been partying it up over the holidays. Initially spotted together at Devyne Stephen’s 007 Black Tie Affair in Atlanta and finally ringing in the new year during a party at The Bank in Las Vegas. Tameka dropped that load and is back full swing on the party circuit. Little Naviyd Ely Raymond, barely 3-weeks old, is very well taken care of so don’t fret. You already know Meka is not about to sit quitely while Usher travels the world. Heck no! Kids or no kids she is all about her man! Now…THAT’s a real woman.
