Tionne ‘T-Boz” Watkins appeared on CBS’s “The Early Show” yesterday. During an intense interview with Harry Smith, T-Boz revealed that she’s been living with a secret for the last three years after her doctor delivered news she never imagined: she was told she had a brain tumor. The tumor was benign, but because of her sickle cell disease, surgery was risky. Watkins was told she could lose everything a performer needs: hearing, balance, facial movement, and speech if she chose to undergo the procedure.
“[I] can’t just go have surgery?” she asked. “They were like, ‘No, I’m sorry, sickle cell is a factor, that’s your reality and you can die.”

Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins have issued statements regarding the death of Michael Jackson. It’s still an emotional time for everyone and the entertainment industry is still in shock. Check out what they had to say below:
“I think everybody who knows me, knows I love me some Michael Jackson. I cannot believe that the man i jokingly call my husband, has passed away. I am beyond lucky to have met such an extraordinary human being. His God given talent was by far the most beautiful gift we’ve ever seen and probably ever will see. I don’t know when my tears will stop but I do know this, there’s only one Michael Jackson..he was and will FOREVER be The King of Pop.” ~ Chilli
“I like many other artist have had the pleasure and opportunity to work with Michael. I used to try to dance & dress like him when I was a child, so to meet him was a dream come true. He is the epitome of a true entertainer. He has changed not only the music industry but the world. His work will live forever from generation to generation. He has always been #1 and will always be. There will never be anyone during our life time that will have such an impact on our lives the way he has.” ~ T-Boz

Awwww….how sweet! Two lovebirds taking in a Hawks game together. Takeo Spikes and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins were spotted during Game 5 of the Hawks v. Heat playoff. T-Boz has a look of pure infatuation in her eyes…either that or Takeo just said something to piss her off.
Looks like Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins wasted no time getting back to work after being given the boot by Trump! She and fellow bandmate Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas performed last weekend in Japan during the SpringGrove09 concert. These two are still great performers and Lisa’s spirit was definitely in the room!

Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas has landed an endorsement deal with Coco-Cola products for Dasani water. The former TLC member has also made it a family affair and has included her 11 year old son, Tron in the deal:
It means so much to me to be in the DASANI campaign because I drink DASANI water all the time. So to get a phone call to represent DASANI water is amazing. To drink water as much as I do and to be a part of that and campaign for it…I just felt like it was a good fit; and to find out I can work with my son…he was so excited and I was so excited! It’s just been amazing! The chance to represent the brand I love and have fun working with my son is a thrill. I can’t ask for anything more than that.
Chilli will also be participating in DASANI’s Ultimate Style and Beauty Experience where one lucky mom can enter to receive a chance to win a 4-day/3-night all expenses paid trip to Atlanta for them and a friend, where they each will receive VIP treatment with a spa day, photoshoot and an opportunity to meet and hang out with Chilli. Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes posthumous album, Eye Legacy is dropping January 27th. In the meantime, check out a sample from the project, which is composed of remixes and previously-unreleased songs. If some of you recognize the vocals from the new single, Block Party, that’s because it’s a remix of her first and only solo single (from Supernova). While most of Lopes’ raps are retained, Surefire and Marcus DL provide a brand new, up-tempo beat, with Clyde McKnight singing the hook. Lil Mama adds a modern day feel to an old song by blending her vocals with Lisa’s. Check it out below and let me know what you think.
