The world of sports and hip-hop collided Saturday evening as T.I.’s Grand Hustle celebrated their collaboration with Amar’e Stoudemire’s Hypocalypto entertainment. Stoudemire announced their joint venture to promote his new atrist, Juice and the event, hosted at Justin’s Restaurant drew a mix of ball players and music industry celebs. Killer Mike, Big Kuntry King, Lisa Leslie (WNBA), Ovie Mughelli (Falcons), D. Woods, Drumma Boy, Sheree Whitfield, Deon Grant (Seahawks), and more were spotted chillin in the crowded back room.
Atlantic Records held a private listening party for T.I.’s hot artist, B.o.B., Friday evening. B.o.B., short for Bobby Ray is a Decatur bred musical phenomenon who’s been featured on several Grand Hustle songs. He’s got a hot song in rotation (I’ll be in the Sky), which is almost unheard of for a new artist without an album…AND he’s got a grand endorsement from The King himself:
I know that a lot of times it take an artist this talented, this diversified a little longer to break on an underbelly level cause it’s very very hard to get him to come back down to earth with us sometimes but I’m letting you know that nothing could be more worth your time than this artist right here…right now. This is the future of what I consider respectable in hip hop. It ain’t nothing this dude can’t do. If he don’t rap, it ain’t cause he can’t it’s cause he don’t feel like it. If he ain’t on no hood sh*t, it cause that ain’t how he feel.
So, rather than force him to do something he don’t wanna do, I’d just rather sit back and admire all the things he does do. He does the sh*t well, so it brings me great honor and enormous pleasure to introduce B.o.B. to the rest of the world and I hope y’all stand behind him as much as I do. And with that said I must bid you farewell. Keep it pimpin…
I can honestly say, B.o.B. is the truth and I CAN”T WAIT for his cd to drop. In case you still need some convincing, download the “Who the F*ck is B.o.B.” Mixtape below: Continue Reading…

TI has a new show and it looks promising. I’ve always thought that we all should take some time and mentor somebody who needs it. Not necessarily have a reality show to film it, but TI sets a good example here for the masses.
As he begins counting down the days to his impending March 2009 sentencing for weapons charges, Grammy-winning superstar T.I. finds himself at a remarkable crossroads. At the very apex of his career, he’s facing up to 30 years of jail time for an arrest stemming from his earlier life. However, as part of a deal worked out between his lawyers and the federal government, if he completes an amazing 1000 hours of community service during the year ending this March, that sentence may be reduced. At 27, finding himself at the very high- and low-point of his adult life, he’s seeking redemption in helping others avoid the mistakes he made. In the new docu-series “T.I.’s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go” cameras follow T.I.’s efforts to save himself by saving others. “T.I.’s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go” is a moving title. Each week, the title will change to reflect the amount of time left to his sentencing. The final episode will air shortly after T.I.’s fate is revealed. In order to communicate his message, he has to give each teenager a tough love lesson in life and show them the consequences of what could happen if they continue down the wrong path.
T.I.’s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go” will premiere on Tuesday, February 10 at 9:00PM (ET/PT). Subsequent episodes will air in the show’s regular timeslot at 9:30pm (ET/PT).
T.I. has teamed up with MTV for a new reality show entitled “T.I’s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go.” The show premieres next month and it’s Tip’s hope that the series will scare teens away from a life of crime. Since being convicted of felony gun charges last year, the 27 year old rapper has been following the terms of a plea deal where he’s completed almost 1000 hour of community service. He is scheduled to begin serving his jail sentence of one year and one day behind bars on March 27th.
In “T.I.’s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go,” viewers will not only watch as T.I. attempts to help change the lives of desperate teenagers across the country but they will also get a behind-the-scenes peek at the most private and personal moments of one of today’s hottest most sought after artists on the verge of leaving his glittering career for time behind bars.
