Clifford “T.I.” Harris appeared on The Larry King LIVE show last night in his first post jail interview since being released from federal prison for weapons charges.
King grilled the 29 year old rapper about his desire for fire-power and why he felt the need to have so many weapons in his possession.
In a detailed explanation, Tip said it all began when his friend, Philant Johnson, was murdered and how he felt that he was actually the intended target, not Johnson.
“It came from an attempt that was made on my life,” T.I. told King. “It caused a state of depression and paranoia. My judgment was jaded, and I felt my life was in danger.”
Besides all the serious topics about weapons & killings, the interview was actually pretty entertaining. Tip talked about fatherhood, his love for Tiny “Tameka” Cottle, and even took the opportunity to display his broad vocabulary. [Sidenote: “absolutely” appears to be one of his absolutely favorite words.]
I could care less about what he had to say, I just liked hearing him say it. Ain’t nothin like a Atlanta man’s dialect!

Twan was on his very best behavior as he schooled Ms. Stewart on ATL terminology and even issued Martha her very own nickname: “Lady Martha Macaroni ’cause you got that cheese.”

Betty White and Jay-Z were all smiles on the set of Saturday Night LIVE last weekend.
Betty White was asked to host the show legions of longtime fans signed a Facebook petition to get the 80-year-old “Golden Girls” star on the show.
Betty’s hosting gig marked the 35th anniversary of the popular late night weekend comedy show and it’s said to be the most watched episode ever!
White thanked her Facebook friends in her opening monologue:
“I really have to thank Facebook … I didn’t know what Facebook was, and now that I do know what it is, I have to say, it sounds like a huge waste of time. I would never say the people on it are losers, but that’s only because I’m polite.
People say ‘But Betty, Facebook is a great way to connect with old friends.’ Well at my age, if I wanna connect with old friends, I need a Ouija Board.
Needless to say, we didn’t have Facebook when I was growing up. We had phonebook, but you wouldn’t waste an afternoon with it.”
