Usher Raymond and Tameka Foster Raymond‘s oldest son, Usher Raymond V aka ‘Cinco’ (pictured above right with brother Naviyd) is reportedly recovering in an Atlanta area hospital after nearly drowning at his father’s home earlier this week.
EOnline reported the following yesterday:
A reported friend of Foster’s took to her local Atlanta blog recently to give an update on the 5-year-old’s condition.
My site has often been referenced as a source by many huge outlets, but never have I been referred to as a “friend” of xyz’s…
And while Tameka and I are not mortal enemies but I wouldn’t consider us “friends”.
My long time readers are aware of my history with Tameka and how my opinion of both her and Usher changed when I attended their first round of child custody hearings.
There’s a scandal brewing between these two and with Usher’s image on the line, you can best bet that ‘Olivia Pope’ will be the case ‘spinning’ the news in his favor. It’s expected.

Little Cinco, who celebrated his 5th birthday last November (PHOTOS), is in the intensive care unit (ICU) of an Atlanta area hospital after an incident which occurred at the singer’s pool around 6pm yesterday evening and reportedly Usher was not home at the time.

It’s been a year since the untimely death of Tameka Raymond’s 11 year old son Kile Glover, who died after suffering head injuries from being hit by a jet ski on Lake Lanier.

Tameka has persevered over the past year by using her grief as a catalyst for change. It was her footwork and determination that convinced Georgia Governor Nathan Deal to sign Senate Bill #136 (i.e. The Kile Glover Boat Education Bill) into law (click HERE if you missed that).

In the summer of 2012, Tameka Raymond lost her son 11 year-old son Kile Glover, to a tragic jet-ski accident on Atlanta’s Lake Lanier.

Holding the memory of her beloved late son close to her heart, Tameka set out to channel her grief into a project that would both honor his effervescent spirit and reflect his deep love of performing arts. In honoring her son, she created ‘Kile’s World Foundation.’

Kile’s World Foundation’s mission statement is, “Gifting children with endless possibilities of creative endeavor through applied, fine and performing arts,” and the goal of the foundation is to ensure that children have a nurturing environment where inquisitiveness is encouraged, knowledge is shared and freedom to hone their crafts is assured.
That being said… through the foundation, Raymond plans to offer art-based camps to several kids and seeks enthused, talented applicants between the ages 10-17 to send in a video showcasing their talent.

While getting the “Kile Glover Boating Education” law passed was a big deal, Raymond isn’t stopping there. She’s pushing for more legislation for tougher boating laws in order to prevent accidents like the one that took Kile’s life from happening again.

Tameka spoke with Jovita Moore of WSB-TV recently, where she shared her thoughts on how boating laws should improve, also, in forming “Kile’s World Foundation,” she plans to honor her son by offering other children access to music & art (things that Kile loved) and hopes to raise funds in a quest to make a difference in the lives of others and to prove her son did not die in vain.
